Thank you for your support and interest in the RoSPA
Advanced Drivers’ Association (RoADA) and the
Group.
As
you embark on the road to advancing your driving/riding
skills, it is important that that journey is made as
safe as possible for you, your tutor and other road
users.
With
this in mind, may I bring to your attention the conditions
and guiding principles surrounding tuition
provided by Groups like ours?
Tuition:
All driving/riding tuition is provided free of charge
by volunteer-tutor / assessors who are Full members
of the RoADA having successfully passed their triennial
tests at the highest grades. Some are also holders of
the RoADA National Diploma for trainers.
During
tuition you are deemed to be in control of your vehicle
at all times and responsible for your own actions while
driving/riding it.
If
your tutor/assessor gives you an instruction, which
you feel is unsafe for you to carry out,
you should do what you believe to be safe.
You
must hold a full driving licence and current certificate
of insurance for your vehicle, which must be taxed,
roadworthy and, if applicable, have an up to date MoT
certificate. |
